你认为在TOP20的入学者中有多少人的ESSAY是完全真实的

我觉得动机和规划就很难判定真实了，毕竟想法总会随着环境改变。但我同意不应该在考试成绩、学习经历、工作业绩以及个人信息上做假。

我觉得换个角度,工作的成就再显赫总还是需要适当包装的,我相信能在申请的路上坚持走下去的XDJM,尤其进了Top20的,都是具备成功的素质和能力的

In the US, everyboy inflate their resume. Americans have been trained to make a small achievement sounds like a big deal since they are very young. Chinese are actually in a disadvantage at marketing themselves. But even the most honest Chinese guy has to inflate at least 10%. It's not about lying, but about wording and building the atmosphere.

不知道投票的人在读什么排名的学校,如果是Top20的会承认自己essay不真实么? 如果不是top20的人,又凭什么判定人家的essay真实不真实呢?

don't do blind guess and tell yourself "hey, i can go to H/S/W too if I would allow myself to boast..." --you can vote only if (1)you yourself hv succeeded applying to Top 20...(2)or you realistically know someone, and read his essays that you r 100% sure he's boasting or his not....

you guys better don't look down upon psycology...(yes those adcoms know how to judge you....)for those very few who luckily get in by cheating, huh...isn't that also a great talent that those guys can make their cut in a vast of people???
