There are people giving up HBS for Kellogg and people giving up Stanford for Michigan because the latter provides them with scholarship. i really doubt about that. i knew tons of american mbas, few of them will choose one obviously better school than the other. brandname is still a big thing in the mba circle here. in some rare case, people may choose wharton over hbs because their couples are at philly. you see the yield rate, and how each school perceives their competing schools. the dean of hbs once said that they are only losing admits to stanford, although according to recent statistics, stanford is losing its attraction among those double admits. |
