就是不知道B哪里错了,如果说B中的their有指代歧义的话,那么A中的whose也不好啊...

忽然想起来了,会不会是run-on结构?

C选项中为什么whose前面要加but,而此题A中whose前不要求加连词?两个whose都是做主语;

是不是因为大全455中是两个定从之间要用连词连接,而大全10中则是主句与定从的连接?

主语单一：一个句子只能有一个主语，而A，有两个主语，COAST GUARD  和 nests   B：用从句，所以正确

 but我觉得是句子意思的问题，大全455中有转折的语意，所以要but，如果没有转折就不用BUT

连词不是必须的
