it是形式宾语，make it ... to do是跟不定式，没有跟现在分词的用法。（可以查一下语法书）

2.会出现这样形式宾语用法的除了make还有什么？

除make之外，还有诸如find, think, feel等。

3.in hoping这样的形式不多见，和hoping在优先级上一样么？

in hope后常跟that从句或of doing，而不是不定式。而hope后面是直接跟不定式to do。（可以查一下字典）
