兄弟们，第三条的那个就是我！可怜阿，从去年10月初交application到R3 May 17decision, 足足8个月的等待啊。

更气愤的是，R2 waitlist guideline上说：

All waitlist candidates who do not ask to be removed from the list will be reconsidered for admission in Round 3 and notified of the Admissions Committee decision by 5pm Eastern Standard Time (EST) of the Round 3 decision release date of May 17, 2007. Decisions include: admit waitlist, summer waitlist, and deny waitlist.

那个summer waitlist是个啥？？就是说5月17号以后还可能被waitlist?? 神阿，不会这么有缘吧？

i speculate because many in round 1 declined Wharton to HBS or Stanford(in the China pool), Wharton figured out this way to test applicants' loyalty. Those hv other choices, will choose to remove from waitlist...thus their yield rate can be protected.
