Do they require some working experience in real estate industry before MBA? If I do not have any reletive experience, can I still go for it? Is that possible to secure a good job after gradation with a real estate concentration, but without related working experience before? Is that very hard to catch up with two concentrations at the same time? 因为在UNC 同时修FINANCE 和REAL ESTATE Thank you. First, welcome to UNC MBA program. Hope you will enjoy MBA life at UNC. In terms of job placement of RE, generally speaking there are two dimensions. One is towards development and the other one would be RE finance. Based on my understanding, development in U.S is very much like the current RE industry in China, very local business. However, because RE is strongly driven by capital, in U.S, RE capital market attracts a lot of professionals. It could be more difficult to land a job in RE without prior experience but it's absolutely possible, depending on the job market and your efforts as well as luck. Should you go for RE? My guess would be based on if you are strongly interested in this industry. Honestly, it's a big decision for your career, it's beyond my stretch to answer such serious questions. You are the best representative of yourself. Yes, it's true it's not an easy job to concentrate both finance and RE, but I don't think it's extremely demanding. What I like RE is people in this industry always encourage you have fun while working hard, which would be rare for I-Bankers or consultants. No offense to those professionals! It’s only personal preference. Always have fun! Like one of RE class assignments could be picking up NCAA elite 8. Hope it helps.
