I know how ranking is done and they are usually not very informative so I tend to give ranking very small weight. When I look at schools, I only use first hand data, not the data digested by those newpapers, which I do not trust. If you try to use ranking to convince me, there is no way. Give me the data on their placement, research production and impact, alumni strength, which are more meaningful. Notice that my "mocking post" is doing the same thing you did unfairly toward Hongkong although I did include some information, for example, the names of faculties who are quite well known in their area. My point is to ridicule your claim. Learn how to think. Do not let your brain be damaged by some lousy newspapers. However, may be you are too brainwashed to learn or think. In that case, follow the rankings from the first newspaper that you can grab your hands on.
