hoho,即使不是笔误，这是gmat考试，不是语言博考，咱能奢侈地把有限的精力投入到浩瀚的语言研究上么？

既然是ETS的考点，就得要弄清楚啊。

OG上确实是its numbers，你是说ETS可能给弄错了，是吗？

老ge，numbers好像不是考点吧，这题考点是its和their,greater和more。另外，俺对你的治学态度和工作真的很钦佩，这里只是提个建议，无他。

谢谢你的建议，确实，我们应该把有限的精力用在最有意义的事情上面。
过多地纠缠于细节会浪费我们太多的时间。
你是说ETS可能把题目出错了吧？

俺不是学语言的，没资格评说numbers对不对，但俺看了诸位的引经据典，觉着即使让学家们来谈这个没几篇论文也谈不出所以然，所以既然不是主要考点，而且gmat也不是语言考试，咱不如把它当笔误过吧。

mm, i just check the dictionary, it says nothing about when to use 'number' over 'numbers'. Actually, what you are trying to approve is that' numbers ' is not acceptable. i don't agree with that. Both ' number' and 'numbers' are good. It depends on the logic meaning of the sentence.

I agree with Joice. No matter whether the meaning for numbers here is group of sth or particular quantity of sth, what we should know is that its numbers is ok in English!
