I have turned down GT couple of weeks ago...Financial aid is one thing. The other is that their faculty is not as excellent as that of other schools, although they are pretty good already.

No, I haven't. But it will be coming out soon.

My fiancee applied for the QMF program at UW-Madison. I am still waiting for the decision regarding her application.

hey when is the due date for your Madison offer? did you request an extension?

well, a better school (man, my dream school!!!!) in NYC just informed me that i'm on the top of their waiting list and they'll let me know the decision in FEW days......but i guess that wont happen before the due date of Madison offer.................and i dont know how to request an extension from Madison at this last minute........

Well, it says I need to respond before April 15th on my offer letter. I think it is normal.

You may ask for an extension. Just ask the school. However, I don't think I need an extension. My fiancee just got in the QMF program at UW-Madison.
