面试的话OXFORD 可以选择在UK以外的地方,比如bj。想问问在UK 面试和在BJ 面试有什么区别和优势么? thanks

personally, I strongly recommend take the interview there in the UK. There're two main reasons. First, it can show your great interests to the program and make the adcom faculty consider you as a very proactive guy. Second, it's a great opportunity for you to touch and feel the school, the program, the people there, the class, etc directly. As a person with the experience of being there, I can tell that it's totally sort of different feeling from doing research by internet, talking with people, or telephone.

Regarding to the "ace" possibility, I got no idea. but definitely it's very hard for them to say "no" to a Chinese people who fly more than 8000 kilometers to be there receiving interview. Do you think so?

Hope you good luck.

since I got the interview invition from JBS first,  I submit the inviting email to BE. and I think it helped a lot for my visa application. it only took 2 days to get permission. However, bear in mind that you should set aside more than one week to collect relevant materials as your application package.

yes, I have tried to, but all seats in BJ and HK are over-booked, I have no choice.

Hard to say, all general questions, which I have prepared, but last very short, I speak fast and so does he,(but I heard the door bell, maybe somebody is waiting there), conducted like question and answer, not like a conversation, thought this is the big shortage of tele-interview. Seems he likes my essay, but I can not tell in the current point.  I noticed that on their website the final decision of Round two will be made by 16, March, don't know if it means the decision would be sent out on that date.
