INSEAD vs. Ivy League schools

To invisible.Good luck for INSEAD.I was interviewed by the Finance program.They only ask me one question:what other school I have applied and have I received any news from them.Doesn`t really sounds like an interview.I have thought that is almost an offer.But it turned out to be an waiting list.They usually interview more than their offers and then all the professors vote out the final 2 offers. I wish you shot the luck.

When and how did you hear about the waitlisting? did you contact them or did they contact you?

The insead interviews seem very similar to each other. But the prof told me the result will come out only in the middle of March. Is that a rej ... ??

From what I heard, INSEAD won't start giving out offers until the end of this week. So, don't be too worried.

INSEAD is definitely better than Yale and Cornell. Yale is strong in law, not in business. Cornell is not top-notch in business either. INSEAD is the no. 1 business school in Europe, very prestigous. I work in executive development field (i.e. EMBA, short term EDP progrmas--programs tailored for senior execs) In our industry, we see INSEAD as equal to Kellogg, Stanford, etc.
