I wrote an email to Ross for status check. Got a reply today.

Unfortunately, there is not a way for you to check the status of your application.  Interview invitations will be extended until the decision notification date.  Interviews are not prioritized in any way, so you could be invited to interview early on, or you could be invited a couple days before the notification date.

It seems that we can do nothing except waiting and preparing for potential interview.

I also did not get any interview invitation until now.

Ross even lost my transcript and GMAT score report which I sent

They said there are quite lots of applicants for Fall 2007.

I am sorry that I cannot give you my source of information without permission, but I guess ROSS's reply email has basically answered most part of the question and confirmed my previous speculation. Spend some time and you will figure it out.

Is there anyone have the phone interview experience with Ross ?

Phone interview is quite challenging compared with face to face interview.

You got more difficulties in interacting with the interviewer. 

Try do some mock before and avoid reading materials during the interview.
