Career gap

请问如果到申请日请3/1 career gap 有半年

这半年都是在准备考试及申请
                     没有工作
那...该如何解释这career gap呢?

有朋友建议说可以找亲戚友人的公司挂名来补gap

 

请问大家career gap会不会很critical to admission evaluation呢?

BTW, 这所要申请的是top tier 的第三轮
                又是最晚的
所以特别注意了这个问题
其它一月丢的我都没管gap说…

I also have significant career gap and succeed in getting offer. It is not a problem. The point should be what you do during the period besides preparing application and what you get, which is more important than working experience, during the period.
