[求助]kellogg的面试被waive了，怎么办

Kellogg waive interview不会有任何不好的后果，只是因为人太多，校友面试不过来。

等他们看完你的材料后如果想要你是会安排telephone interview的。

我本来也是校友面试，因为校友没空，昨晚收到了waive通知。

打电话去问过，应该不必紧张。这基本是按照先约先得的原则。但是如果像我一样重新约，就要和后面所有的人一样放到系统中去排队。因为今年申请的人多，而北京和上海的校友已经完成了他们的面试quota，所以没有再多的义务帮助我们面试了。如果在录取过程中，他们觉得有不清楚的地方，会和我们约电话面试的。还有，给我们发面试通知和waive通知的coordinators,是看不到我们的part 1部分的，只知道名字和提交日期，所以大家不必太多虑。

Do you have any idea about the increase in the applications to Kellogg? To get a place becomes much more tough this year ...

No idea!

Just was told there are hundreds of applicants from both Beijing and Shanghai.  I then asked what if we Chinese applicants find by ourselves some alumni that are willing to conduct interview for us, as we know there are many kellog  alumni in some business club. They said no, that didn't work.

maureenxu, Thank you for the information.

So many Chinese applicants this year -hundreds only from BJ and SH. Given only 10 people to admit, that big number of applicants means less than 5% will be lucky enough to have a chance to get an offer in the end.

Appears that a lot of applicants do not participate the survey on the application schools on CD.

I got my invitation on the same day that I submitted part II of the application.  It may be reasonable to assume that the adcom does read part I prior to assigning interviews; however, the bulk of the application material will have no effect on whether an interview is granted, at least this is in my case.
