不是NN,谈点个人感受吧:

the decline of regional dialects, language variations
        

这里的language variations是不是前面的地方方言的同位语? 然后根据后面的by geographic isolation.可以从逻辑角度(更通俗点应该是句意吧)判断出是用主动..

还是等NN来说些更清晰的解释吧~~

通过by知道应该perpetuated是用被动时态，所以按照平行原则，B中的 that originated from 应也为被动表达方式，因此根据句意就不合理了。
而C中的originated from有歧义，会被理解为被动时态或过去时态，如果用过去时就会后面的perpetuated by（被动）不平行了。
