antonio_zhu: what's wrong with Ivey? Please make more specific. I am a new immigrant and applying Ivey. I have been to its class visit, and the class atmosphere is amazing. Admittedly, it going to be a big challenge for non-native speaker to follow up, but isn't that we are up to? Due to my citizenship restriction, I cannot go to US. But I am pretty sure first tier US schools will be no less tough than Ivey, as many of them are buying cases from Ivey and HBS.
In my opinion, Ivey is still the top Canadian B-School by all means. Just check those top management consulting firm websites, Ivey is the only school in Canada in where they all will have on-campus recruit.
UfT is excellent for finance, but does not fit my career goal.
Schulich has great undergraduate program, but I personally knew two not-too-intellegent folks in its MBA right now. And we all know, schulich's ranking is mainly attribute to its number of its international students and faculties.

Again, that is just personal view.

what's wrong with Ivey? you could find the answer easily from previous posts. I don't bother to repeat what many precedences have said since I didn't find them compelling before I came here. Well, when I started my life here, I found that they were right to a certain high extend. However, If you really want to come and have no other choices, why not come? you could find out yourself.

Don't make the conclusion"Ivey看来是彻底不行了" to soon. Objectively it is still the No.1 B-school in Canada in terms of the teaching quality and networking. Speaking of Rotman and Schulich (York), I am sure they might have their own strengths and weaknesses, depending on how you evaluate them and what your own priorities are.

For instance, Ivey is strong at general management, its case method teaching style really foucses on teaching students how to think broadly and speak up sharply.

Rotman is more focusing on academic teaching and askes for and teaches lots of quantitive skills. If you would like to pursue your career in deep finanical modeling, etc, it might be the best choice for you. (But you got to ask yourself a question, before you choose it. Do you really enjoy spending all your time sitting in front of the computer to play with the numbers?)

Schulich is specialize in certain areas, such as marketing, accounting, financial engineering, etc. If you think you are really interested in one of these areas. Bingo, it might be a good choice for you, however the trade off is that most of Schulich grads would have to start from entry levels.

Of couse, above mentioned could come cross any of these three schools. But the thing is, at the end of day, it's your call to make the judgement. How to? Don't just look at the ranking and read the news on Chasedream. Go to talk to their grads, ask around your colleagues, talk to these schools' career management, more importantly go to the schools to try their courses, and to get a flavor of them...

All the best!
