Life is complex. People live in it with innumerable decisions to make. Choosing a school to attend, a place to live
in, or a kind of life to lead are all cases of it. From my point of view, the statement that people prefer others
to make decisions for them rather than make decisions themselves are true when they encounter inexperienced
situations or when they do things for the purpose of pleasing others. Otherwise, I disagree the statement while
those sort of decisions to be made are significant ones.

 
On the first place, I am in favor of the statement when people encounter some inexperienced problems. On the first
day of one's arrival to a new city,for instance, he will be willing to be told where to live or which restaurant to take food
by the local people. Under this circumstantce, people expect others to make decisions for them in order not to
go into a wrong direction. Likewise, the same is true of a greenhand in a workplace want to be instructed about
how the tough work goes.

Additionally,people prefer others to make decisions for them when they do things for the purpose of pleasing others.
Take clothes for example, a lady usually wants her lover to judge which skirt she should wear for a ceremonious
banquet. In other sense, she puts on it to a large extent for the reason of making her audience enjoyable.

However, when it comes to some significant events such as marriage or career, I believe people wouldn't take
the venture of allowing others to make decisions for them. Most frequently, they would like to judge a Mr Right with
their own wise eyes. Accordingly, they would carefully choose a profession in consideration with their interest and
the career development.

To sum up, decisions are manifold and people's attitude towards them may alter. Therefore, the statement that
people prefer others to make decisions for them rather than make decisions themselves can be sensible in
some cases like encoutering inexperienced situations or when people do things for pleasing others. However, it
will be insensible to allow others to make decisions for them when those decisions are really important.
