They're making an effort to get to know you.  Imagine them having to read through thousands of applications.  Not proofreading your essays is your own responsibility.  In the real world, you can make modifications to a submitted proposal either.

呵呵。UT是我的dream school,看见标题有UT就杀进来了。

UT的申请过程是比较麻烦。不过，在填写网上申请表之前他们有一个很详细的instruction的啊，上面就说了一旦sumit就不能更改。而且，在sumit之前你是可以delete你已经upload的文件的。

所以说，你要检讨一下为什么自己不好好看一下instruction呢？

补救办法：重新申请一个ID，重新填写申请表。

1是submit前, 你apply错了.是可以改的.有"Remove"buttone, 你就delete重来.AU的要不可以的话.那是它们的system有问题.

2是submit后,是不能改的.所有的学校都这样.

建议LZ写mail问一下.

回楼上,气的就是这个,UT的网申真的很笨蛋,我不是submit我的applacation pakage,而仅仅是试着先把essay 放上去一下,结果就不行了,不能变了.

真是垃圾网申,那么烦琐,复杂,罗嗦的页面,

当然原因是把如此众多的学校糅合在一个申请网上,能不烦吗?

只是想骂他消消火,

楼上的重申请一个ID的办法末也很麻烦,因为寄出的东西每个都要附一个文件,上面有EID,电子申请号,

最麻烦的一个学校.

TMD混蛋.

那你是没有申过UT,或者我没说清楚,并不是我submit了我的申请还想改.

不过在master申请区也有一个专门骂UT申请的帖子,

我前后申请了8所学校,一直吧UT拖到最后就是因为他申请作的不是一般的差.是真TMD差.

而且我想一般的申请网站这些小工夫还是有的,所以我说他差,他肯定就是很差了,不是一般的差,

不信你去试试.

Ahaha, I did leave out the "not" when I typed that sentence but you want to argue about grammar rules now?

"When they (either/neither) function as adverbs, they behave as linking words which can be tagged on in agreement at the end of a negative sentence. But with neither, subject and verb are inverted, with either this does not happen."  Here's some examples:

I can't make the meeting on Tuesday. ~ No, neither can I

I can't make the meeting on Tuesday. ~ No, I can't either.
