Maybe it is not that useful, because I need to waste time talking with him and eating with him, but I should study much harder now. However, I don't want to make him unhappy. Actually, he do help me improve my oral English.

     You  can tell him directely you are busy. If you don't tell him, he thinks you are happy going out with him. Maybe you can make a short time to talk with him a week. Just tell him directely.
