some random thoughts, i realized that i am just an average applicant. most of the top school applicants have strong profiles, great gpa, gmat score, and w.e. i didn't do a good job on my essays and rec letters (both of my bosses composed a generic rec letter), and i don't have enough w.e. To prospective applicants, if u truly wanna get into a top school, u gotta do extensive research, find what adcom (from each school) is looking for, come up with essays that stand out. a sentence or two that embrace a school's character can make a big difference. and mba is not for everyone. do you really wanna invest two years of ur life and wage loss and potential promotions, etc, etc. ask urself, is it really worth? think about the opportunity cost. i dunno. i am confused myself....
