Received decision from INSEAD on Wednesday night! In for the summer intake 2007! Good luck to all who's still applying and/or waiting. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Here some experience I want to share with all CDer. I started my preparation since 2005. Finished GMAT early that year with 730 and took TOEFL right after and scored 667. At that time, I really thought that the application itself will be easy. But now, when I looked back, it was really just the beginning of it. The choosing of school was quite a struggle. My friend kept to suggest me apply for all top10 schools but I was so confident at that time and chose only HBS, Wharton and INSEAD to apply for. From the very beginning I knew already that I'll be in at INSEAD, given my long year living and working experience in Europe. Well, even though I thought I was so unique and exceptional, neither HBS nor Wharton accepted me. This brought me now back to the earth and want to tell you that the B-schools are looking for the "RIGHT" people. As far as I can see this year, HBS only accepted applicants from mainland China with MC experience. And Wharton loves those people with long working experiences and re-applicants are preferred there. ![](/static/legacy-emoticon/Dvbbs/em06.gif) It took me in average 2 weeks for each of the application. To be honest, if I was not accepted this year, I will not apply any more because my chance by the current company will lead me to GM position in 6 years any way. I think every one is unique but the application to top B-Schools is, at the end, to show that you have leadership potential. If you've never had management responsibility in your work, the chance is really limited. Use every chance in your life to be a leader, think about your plan in advance and you'll make it! After all these struggles, I do have all the respect for every one, who tried and is trying 120% in her application. Cheers and Good Luck!
