Just want to add. Be critical, use these rules just as general guideline. 

For example, power score preaches weakening or strengthening are never done on premises. But there have been cases, the credited answers are to weaken/strengthen.

Some quick tips from me.

Treat assumption as must be true, that way you can quickly destroy out of scope answers. The difficult ones usually have two subtle choices. Use negation test then.

For paradox, look for cause. The tricky choices usually have effects of the paradox, since they are consistent with paradox, it's easy to fall for those tricky choices.
