2 - 5 pm, Nov 26 Sunday, 2006 @ Pan Pacific, Singapore Tsinghua set a booth with 2 young ladies, look quite professional & converse fluently with prospective students in English. CEIBS had a booth with 3 young ladies, nice brochures well down. Heard them discussing with visitors in Chinese. Quite a popular booth due to many Chinese staying in Singapore & it's perceived as the most established B-school in China. Wharton & Chicago, empty booth, no show! INSEAD: both MBA & EMBA came. IE: Dirk with one EMBA current student & one IMBA alumnus. IMD: most impressive thing about it is that two alumni turned up with two Jan 2007 intake students stayed for the whole event. The major difference between World MBA Tour (topmba.com) & The MBA Tour (http://www.thembatour.com/, in September) is that the former doesn't set any entry criteria (so long as they pay for the exhibition booth charge) for the participating school which results in a mixed quality of exhibitors. |
