There's a good reason for b-schools to have that requirement, especially HBS. You'll get very little out of the classes if you can't participate in the discussions and all the classes at HBS is taught under the case method. Why don't you try the essays first? I think HBS has one of the most demanding set of essays, made harder by their strict word limits. Unless you are comfortable with English, it's extremely difficult to put together a convincing set. Again, the sole purpose of the test is to check whether you can communicate effectively, with your classmates, professors, and recruiters, during and after your MBA program. See you can figure out a way to prove that. |
