Wharton has an individualized major, which can be name as Venture Capital. The electives include: Advanced Corparate Finance, Venture Capital and Finance of Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Private Equity in Emerging Markets, Entrepreneurial Marketing, etc.

The required skill sets: financial analysis, techonology industry knowledge, networking skills, entrepreneurial spirite, etc.

Bachelor knowledge is only part of the contributions, but not enough. Never yes, never no.

It's really helpful. What is your background before wharton? I remembered that you shared one experience of how your  company choose IBM over Dell (sth like that) in a  marketing  class that I luckily visited.

Ah... I'm afraid it's not me.

I was in media & entertainment  before. Now I'm quite interested in VC. Wharton just hosted an Asia Business Conference. We had speakers who are partners of some VC & PE funds in China coming to Wharton. Students from HBS, Columbia, MIT, Cornell came to Philly as well. It's really a hot topic!
