也许他们根本就不想要中国（大陆）人吧。
一年47000刀的费用，而且根本就没有奖学金和贷款，他们认为一般大陆人根本就读不起。（某些贪官污吏及其家属除外，不过那帮人正急着摆脱自己中国人的身份呢，估计对此不会在意的。）

原来UT AUSTIN也有类似的问题,为了方便申请人(毕竟护照不一样),"国家"一栏里有CHINA,HONGKONG,TAIWAN.后来,有人指出后两者不是国家,他们马上改为:COUNTRY AND REGION.

不妨向学校反映一下.

首先，企业家跟MBA是两回事。同样，付不付得起学费跟其日后能不能成为企业家也无关。

其次，美国的教育水平比中国高是事实，但并不代表他什么都比中国好。

最后，中国人了解美国要比美国人了解中国详细透彻得多。

另，想到了GMAT作文里的一篇范文，是关于环境污染是否需要国际合作的，其中一条理由就是某些“无赖”国家，比如中国和朝鲜，会无视全球的利益排放污染物，所以需要国际努力来制约他们。我不知道这篇东西是中国人还是美国人写的，但是至少其中都透着典型美国式的盲目和无知，也不知道是谁是世界第一大排放污染国，更不知道是谁无视各国的呼吁坚持不肯签署《京都议定书》。这个时候美国人的reasoning和logical mind都不知滚到哪里去了。

chipmunk, I couldn't agree with you more on that. It's never been the fault for certain common Americans to be arrogant or blindfolded. But it is a different story for the US government and media. They always cram their people's head with the idea that many other countries are deliberately trying to be the antagonists of the States and will ultimately ruin their country. GW Bush is a good example. I dont know what else he can do except leting hundreds of American people die in the battlefield for killing more foreigners. America's economy sucks under his tenure. The government deficit in 2002 was 150 billion USD, while in 2003 the number climbs to 340 billion, and estimated to be 500 billion in 2004! That's why the education expenditure are heavily cut these years and the tuition are increasing every year while on the contrary, the financial aid is more and more diminishing.

前天碰到一个在柏克莱当 Post Doctor 的东北人，口口声声说中国人是最低等的民族，对世界从来没有过贡献。（此人出生农村，从小吃过苦，也没看过几本本专业以外的书，不知道蒙古和匈奴不是同一个民族，因此我原谅他的无知） 俺对柏克莱的反感又增加了。

把香港台湾独立列出的地方很多，毕竟中国也一直用中港台这个词，但是把 Tibet 独立列出Berkeley Haas 还是独家。 我相信他十年也收不到3份来自“西藏”的申请书。

把香港台湾独立列出的地方很多，毕竟中国也一直用中港台这个词，但是把 Tibet 独立列出Berkeley Haas 还是独家。 我相信他十年也收不到3份来自“西藏”的申请书。

如果谁能证明自己是达赖的手下，说不定berkeley会破例给他全奖。至于GPA，GMAT，PS都可以不用看。
