I'm coming.

I understand TUCK enjoys a great fame with long history, will such a traditional (isn't it?) school slam the door to those GPA quite low student, for example, who got almost 2.5 or 2.6 - TOP5 university of China, science major, while was mostly dedicated to student activities?  Or will TUCK appreciate such students?

Thanks.

Does work experience and personality outweigh other factors during applicant assess?

Well, actually, I think I should learn more about TUCK value details.

Hi Tuck2008,

I talked to admission officer in Boston MBA information session and was very impressed by their warm heart and kindness.

I heard that Tuck owns a small but close community. What are the pros and cons for career acceptance? As you know, social network is very important to MBA students. Geographical situation might hinder this wideness. What do you think of it?

Secondly, what kind of prospective student will Tuck prefer to take? Esp. those chinese who have successfully joined Tuck program. Do they share anything in common? What about their career path after MBA?

Thirdly, what about the study load and life? I know MIT and Harvard are pretty stressful and competitive in study. What is the stronges major in Tuck? General mangement right? But so many people go for finance, IB, VC. How do you see this strong trend in the school?

That would be nice if you could give me some ideas of the above questions.

Thanks!

Hi, Tuck 2008, below are the requirements of financial aid in Tuck.  I wonder what is the third document means? Must I summit it, because it is just stated that (if applicable). Thanks!

To apply for financial aid, including loans, please submit the following:

• Application for Tuck School of Business Funds

• A copy of a recent pay stub

• A signed copy of the complete 2006 tax form you are required to file in your country (if applicable), including W2 forms for U.S. filers; for non-tax filers, a 2006 Non-Filing Statement stating any income earned and taxes paid in 2006

That's true. Usually first year MBA students will live on campus and seldom cook by themselves though they have a shared kitchen. For students with spouse who usually live off campus,  you can cook Chinese styled food at your will. Some traditional Chinese ingredients are difficult to find at local grocery, the nearest place to go is China Town at Boston.

If you're so unable to try Western styled food at least several times a week, find your way out.
