Not many universities have the master of accounting program. YOu'd better to read by yourself to make sure what they want.
As far as i know, it's okay for non-accounting students to apply for it. But many extra requirement. you'd better to read carefully.

It will take the same amount of time or more to complete as you would for an MBA. But the degree narrows your career paths to accounting, which is dominated by women because they can work longer hours. (I don't know if you are a female or male).

almost every Macc program accepts students without accounting background only if you have enough potential and have enough money to support yourself.

You should get an MBA and take enough classes so you can sit for the CPA exam.
