Not only in the local university program but also in the joint program, the average age of MBA students is decreasing in general. Beside the result of high competition, one reason is that fresh undergraduates are easier to have a high score in the graduate admission exam or GMAT test in generally, and another reason is the unsatisfied job placement and career development of the undergraduates prick up many juniors to choose study rather than continuing work.
In local MBA programs, the average student age was 26 in 2001 while it was 32 in 1997. In CEIBS, the average MBA student age also decreased to 28 from 29.3. |
