I am a Tepper admit. Can you tell me the job/internship placement for Chinese or other international students at Tepper? What types of job functions do Tepper students most easily or most difficult to get into? Your comments are much appreciated. I do not how to type chinese characters.

You can check Tepper's employment report on its website of the career ofice.  Looks like not bad. 

But we may still wish to have input from the class 2008.

living in Pittsburgh is not expensive. If you share with someone on housing, you may only pay about $300/month.

Food is also not expensive. But no good chinese food. Public transportation is free for CMU student. And you need not have a car unless you like travel or need go for intern.

Some highlight for Chinese related students in class of 2008 internship.

Companies: Black&Decker, Air products, W.R.Grace, Johnson Control, Rohm and Hass.

Positions: Finance, marketing, IT management, strategy.

Conclusion: Some greencard holders or US citizens can get bunch of chances. Job market is good this year for international student. If you want to stay in US, it is easy to stay. However, if you want to get some good jobs, you need to struggle yourself.

All Chinese students get intern and fulltime this years.
