Therefore they raised a solution to solve this problem. And the listening passage discuss the one consequence when they were carrrying out of the plan. The reading passage said that as a result of this laking expertise problem, the faculty of the department considered solution, that was to change the curriculum of the department from 3 courses required and 5 courses elective to 5 courses required and 3courses elective. Furthermore, they announced that this change would affect all students in the department immediately. However, the listening passage stated that the students who were already in the department complained about the announcement, and they should not be forced to take the change. Therefore the school announced that the change was for students who newly entered school. Thus, the students who had already took the former program still took 3 required courses and 5 elective courses. So the school could just give them a strong recommendation for the courses, not a forced announcement. |
