do not worry too much!!! Why not find out which major in your university will be helpful for you to find a job?Then try to get into that major.Normally it is easier to transfer within the same university.Or try to get admitted by a PHD program. Do not be pessimistic!!! You are realizing your goal step by step.Clam down and do whatever fits your current needs.Frankly, life is hard for guys.If you were a girl, you would have many options. Do not be panic! Good luck.

Phd programs, esp those in top universities, can be demanding. It may not be a good choice unless it is necessary to reach your career goal.

Try some programs interesting to you first, and think over your career goal and way to it carefully.

I am not sure what has changed during the past 6 years in B-School graduate programs. But one thing if you can try: step by stey, as mauricewang mentioned -- to focus on one thing before reaching anonther. For example, if you have decided that an easy access to the job-market is your first priority, i guess either acctg or cs will be the one to consider. Meanwhile please try out your best efforts once your goal is set up. Although there isn't a saying that pain all results in gain, somehow I still believe you can make it if you really want to. Good Luck.

Oh, in my view, it really doesn't matter whether you are female or male, "young" or "old", "low GPA" or "high GPA".

我一直觉得lz的问题不在于策略，而在于战略。

你到底想要什么？你怎么定义自己的成功？  你怎么规划自己的职业？

这些都是最首要的问题，离开这些，谈其他的，都是空中楼阁。今天想学这个明天又想学那个，也许你即使进了一个top school之后也会发现问题并不会迎刃而解。

我想我现在需要做的就是问一下我们学校会计就业如何，和MBA比较下看看，同时学好专业课，同时争取gmat考个好成绩，同时照大家说的选择好我的职业目标，争取能申请好学校。I guess you can only do one thing at a time. Make up your mind as soon as possible. Most of the Master's programs have two years, and yet, the job searching process starts from the first day of your study. Generally, there is a career fair at every school in September for 2nd year students to find full time jobs and for 1st year students to find interns, and your school would not be an exception. GPA doesn't count too much in terms of job searching, but your soft skills -- personality so to speak. 2 degrees might not necessarily give you a big chance. It is better to be careful for PhD application. It is such a big commitment. And for PhDs, the job market is much narrower. There are several (kind of) negative threads talking about PhD study these days. You can get a sense. Anyway, evaluate yourself and pick up the right apporach.
