thanks for Kellogg2008's post. I have one question when I filled in Kellogg part I form for an interview.

I have worked in one company for several years and have promotion in this company. Do I only need to post my last position in this company or I need to list all my positions in this company?

工作背景:  2年四大审计,2.5年世界500强财务部门.

G760,ACCA.

GPA84/100,

共选了2所学校,不想转行进IB等，所以选的都是1年制的MBA

分别是KELLOGG(1yr program),INSEAD---sep

不知道财务管理背景的人申请KELLOGG机会大吗？长远目标还是向公司战略层发展

samprass, I hope I could give you an answer, but I just cannot. Your background is definately impressive, but it's hard to judge your chance simply based on you GMAT/company/title/industry/etc. Since you've already had the essays done, why don't you just give it a try and see how it goes? Whatever my guess is really doesn't matter anyway. Just be aware that for 1Y, switching career is tough. I know you are not thinking about it now, but you may change your mind after you come here either because you get influenced by your peers or because there are not many openings in the area you are looking for.

请教一个问题，Kellogg的professional programs(如biotechnology)是不是也和academic department（如marketing）一样可以作为一个major来选？我看到Kellogg95%以上的学生都要完成2个以上major，应该包含那些professional programs吧？

而且这些都是2年级的课程，第一年都是必选的核心课程，这样的理解对吧？

请教一下，关于Kellogg interview.我十二月初就submit part I了，但是没有收到学校关于interview的任何通知，我发了一封email也是石沉大海。请问R2 interview学校一般安排在什莫时候？我在北京，Kellogg应该是有足够多的校友在北京的。谢谢！

Check the following website for a list of majors

Majors are different from academic departments or professional programs, although they may share the same name, such as marketing.

Don't worry about majors now. Everyone will have at least one major after two years, which is the minimum requirement for getting the degree. Usually, for the first one and half quarter, we take core courses, and all electives afterwards.

For R2, it's normal to receive interview invitation some time in Jan. The holiday season is coming, so there might be some delay to get response back from the adcom.
