答案是D，我觉得D 的时间逻辑有问题，不是应该先WON然后才PLAGUED，那就该是WON 句在前面呀？

还有，YEARS和1984 TO 1988不是重复了吗？

按你这么说at age 16也是重复的，直接写at 16不久可以吗？我觉得你可能过多关注着个考点，实际上这并不重复，这个years相当于period.
