目前学校10万校友遍布世界，在中国大陆，我们有5000校友，如果你还没有收到学校的newsletter，如果您已经很久没有和校友联系，那么，这次您可以联系我们。HKU，2006年从大陆10000名申请者中招收250名本科生，约等于香港其他高校的总和；HKU，已经在上海招收了9届MBA（International)的学生，1000多毕业已经工作在国内的很多岗位。

Witness the Dynamism, Be a Part of the Future Come join the HKU Global Alumni Convention in Shanghai (November 2 to 4, 2006). The Convention's theme is "Discover Shanghai . Discover China – Tomorrow Today" <<中國.上海.今天看明天>>. Through the discovery and re-discovery of Shanghai, we will gain an insight into China's future, and determine the role the HKU Alumni are to play in these critical times of change on the world's stage. Who Should Attend Members of the HKU Family Alumni & their families/friends        HKU Mentors HKU Foundation Members        Friends of HKU Court and Council Members, Staff and Students...        Why You Should Attend The Convention is a gathering for the HKU Family. It provides a platform for Members of the University Family from all corners of the world to meet and interact, to share and to be inspired, in the heart of China – a city that will play host to the world event of 2010 Shanghai World Expo. There will be over 500 participants, from the Mainland (mainly Shanghai and Beijing), from Hong Kong and overseas. Since the announcement of the Convention, response has been overwhelming. Many alumni and friends have been offering to help. If you want to contribute, recommend ideas or even volunteer to help on the day, please contact         Walter Ngai at global06@hku.hk .
