         A是答案,没有问题. 但是宾语比较,一般加THAT/THOSE啊.为什么这里没有呢?我真的搞不太清楚在什么情况下句子的什么部分相比.

B中的those指代bases. than后谓语动词are省略，因为没有歧义。

结论：在不同宾语之间比较，一般都会用到代词，且代词极少（我不敢制定公理，所以不说“绝对”）出现they/it, 因为虽然是同类，但不是同一样东西(X的a与Y的b)。谓语动词的省略根据是否产生歧义而定。

我的问题:because their economic bases are often more fragile than most predominantly White colleges.在我看来明明是主语的比较啊. 是ECONOMIC BASES比较啊,因为二者有不同定语所以用THAT取代原来相同的部分啊.请哪位NN告诉我错我在哪里啊

我的一点看法，供参考。我自己总结的，与网上有区别。

我把所有的比较都看成是句子的比较，只不过是有的时候两者相同成分多，相同成分少。究竟哪部分比较，我自己定义为是“不同的部分的名称”。（我看过不少关于比较的总结，感觉有人对于比较什么成分的定义不同，有时有误解）

以你的例子讨论：

1)

所以是地点状语的比较，根本不涉及主语或宾语，than后要求完整状语(一般是介词词组），与补不补that/those无关。

同意你的观点，此题是主语的比较，因为还原成句子是：

their conomic bases are more fragile than the economic bases of White colleges are. 在无歧义的情况下，省略are, 题干又漏掉的the economic bases,　所以需要those来代替。

我想熏衣紫草大牛把这题归为宾语比较是从A of B的角度出发的，定义不同，但我还是认为归为主语比较更合理。
