Yes, actually DRO is much more like a joint program between b-school and our department (industrial engineering and operation research). Especially during the first and second year, most of the core courses such as stochastic process, optimization, simulation will be taken in our department with other phd students majoring in OR.
So, it's quite challenging. But should be very interesting, because I'm currently taking some of those professer's courses and they are really very very good!!!! Especially Professor Ward Whitt, I love him so much!!!!!
Is it the course "stochastic models"? I am also very interested in stochastic theories, hehe.
