002 Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Parents are the best teachers. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer

At first glance at the statement “parents are the best teachers”, most people would agree this viewpoint. But after considering this statement thoroughly, I realize that this statement is seemingly right but actually wrong. As a complete unit, parents can’t be the best teachers. In the real sense parents could never take the place of teachers, on account of lacking the qualities those best teachers should have, such as professional skills of education/pedagogy, systematic and multi-disciplinary knowledge to impart.

In one aspect, generally speaking, parents have not the education background of pedagogy as those real teachers in schools with different levels. And the instinct of parents could never substitute those professional instructors. They could not manage about the problem in teaching their children faultlessly and professionally as those really teachers. For instance, if a boy has the problem in communicating with peers, a profession teacher knows how to solve this problem in terms of pedagogical psychology by using professional methods and knowledge, but obviously, this problem outstrips his parents’ captivity.

And in another aspect, without a doubt, parents are obviously, in a large part, lacking the systematic and multi-disciplinary knowledge that professional instructors possess. For example, parents may tell something about national history to their children, but they could not impart those complicated background knowledge nationally and internationally, and also they surely could not impart those history knowledge and information chronologically and regionally as history major teachers. So parents are parents, they could not instead of those real teachers in school.

Though parents could play the part of teaching sometimes, they still can not overcome the shortcoming as comparing with professional teacher. To sum up, due to reasons mentioned above, which sometimes correlate with each other to generate an integrate whole and thus become more convincing than any single one of them, I can comfortable to say that it is definitely the best teachers are always from those real teachers with professional education background, and parents are still the parents.

MM,我用蓝色高光的地方,我觉得有语法,表述等方面的问题。值得商榷。斗胆拍砖,见笑了。
