Describe the initiatives you have taken over the past two years to develop professionally and personally. What motivated you to take those initiatives?

我理解为过去两年你在职业生涯和个人发展的主要作为与动机。类似于career path的问题。

Yes, I agree.  Talk about the major building blocks, explain how each of them contribute to your overall career vision/roadmap, and emphasis on you taking advantage of every opportunity.  Be careful about focusing too much on results.

I'm not a "fromer" because I'm writing essays myself. But this one seems to be pretty straightforward.  You need to show (1)you know what you want to achieve, (2)why you want to achieve those (3)how you planned to get there and (4) what actions you took.

The key here is self-awareness.
