因为avoid是一种主动的动作，只有有生命的东西才能主动的避免某事或某物

chalice 是 a drinking cup,自己是不能避免被盗，所以用avoid不正确。

刘振民语法精解中第一章练习题第13条选用了此条，其答案却选c，认为b表达复杂，这与og选择不一样。可见，此题的理解和语言运用明显体现og的逻辑和语言习惯。

而凭语感来讲，个人觉得og的解释令人信服一些。
