i want to register toefl iBT online now,but I find somedays the test  time is from  7pm to 11:30 pm.who can kindly tell me the resaon?should i take this  test  on night?Please!!

IBT的考试是全球同步进行的，全球的考题同一天是一样的，北美晚上考，亚洲白天考，很正常。（也可能有些日子是北美白天考，亚洲晚上考，不过这样的话，不同时区的IBT考试日期就不是同一天了。）

you are so nice. and there has another question about standard score: as i come here not so long,my english is very bad but i need a toefl score to apply my phd program.so do you think if i should go back china to take this test?

楼主说的回国参加考试具体若是指PBT的话，8月19日的早就结束报名了（PBT考试报名一般要提早2个月以上才能报上，而目前北美IBT报名也很紧张，大概也要提早2个月），不久就要考试了。楼主还是在美国好好利用周围的英语环境认真复习为好。
