我觉得,如果用used 则和taped平行,这样used 也变成了illegally 了,而事实上.只有taped才能是illegally,而use这个tape(不管是不是illeagally taped)不是非法的.

其次,很同意abia的说法＂另外再说说为什么不能用supporting要用would，如果用supporting就意味着the information they had obtained to find evidence that supported，清楚了吧？就变成呈堂政供啦，要知道非法录音能不能做证据还不知道呢，所以用一个虚拟语气would咯，明白了吧？ ＂

从平衡结构可以排除A B C,但为什么不是E呢?

我觉得D从句中省略了that 好像不对哦

定语从句可以省略that

关于分词修饰名词和that定语从句修饰名词的区别很多语法书上都有；

此处必须用that从句修饰information主要原因在于这是一次具体、特定的行为，具体的“abtain”，该行为不具有重复性。

补充一下，这里的 the information （that they had obtained ） 定语从句里面省略 that 是由于 information 在定语从句里面做宾语，不然的话 GMAT 是不主张省略 that。
后面马上就是一个例子 ......find evidence that would support……
