In the end, think of your daily life in office before jumping in... But it is really rare to see Finance PhD to jump back to MFE, although it is normal for other science and engineering PhDs to jump to either MFE or Finance PhD.
Oh, one thing to note: as I remember, only Berkely and CMU can accept GMAT, all others need GRE.
非常感谢,我还在考虑当中,不过MSF的课程内容大多自己已经学过,即使是全英文教学,也没有太大的挑战性,而MFE虽然数学要求挺高,但我看了一下柏克利的要求,还没有到达变态的地步,而哥大的要求就相当变态了,金融数学化是大趋势,我认为MSF这个专业对于金融来说就有点泛泛,研究并不透彻,我想,不如尝试一下新方向。 数字并非不是不可攻克的堡垒,而且看起来要求并不变态,并不要求会一些什么复变之类的变态要求。编程就更容易的,我本身对于PHP很感兴趣,其实PHP就是脱胎于C或者C++,我不太清楚,反正编程语言在本质上是相通的,现在编程已经傻瓜化了,无非是ctrl+C or V,呵呵,调用即可,无论如何不会让一个学金融的人接触到底层编程吧。 我现在想,得存钱啦,学费还真是一个难以攻克的堡垒。得一切靠自己。 |
