Hi - I would select 1-2 points to descript into detail, and if you think you have other points also interesting, you can use 1-3 sentences for each in the end.

this is only my own strategy and I cannot ensure it's the best one.

但是关于darden的online-application, 我仍旧有些问题.

比如说, employment history, activities, education history 这些不都应该已经包括的resume里了么?  不是有些重复么？

而且online application有很多optional 的essay, 甚至与family backgroud也都有essay. 难道都要写么?

不好意思,问这些比较弱的问题。 只想确认自己不要犯错误。

Yes it is a bit repeat but if you do another school you will find that all schools require you to input these again. The reason (I guess) is that the school cannot fill your information in resume into database directly so that asking you to input into web.

There's only one optional essay, if I am not mistaken. Below is all essay questions I copied from the admissional site and only the last one is optional.

1.  Why is an MBA a critical next step toward your short- and long-term career goals? (500 word limit) (Required)

2.  Each of our applicants is unique. Describe how your background, values, education, activities and/or leadership skills will enhance the experience of other Darden students. (500 word limit) (Required)

3.  Choose one of the following questions. (250 word limit) (Required)
 

a. What would you do if you didn’t have to work for a living?
b.  Describe a significant maturing experience.
c.  What have been the most satisfying aspects of your work life thus far and the most dissatisfying?

4.  If there is further information that you believe would be helpful to the Admissions Committee, please provide it below. (250 word limit) (Optional)

Charlottesville is not a big city that's right, but it didn't stop those major recuritor coming to campus. Also since it's near the east coast so you can do off-campus job hunting anyway.

You probably wan to check the placement data which is publiced on Darden web site.

4) Can self report transcript, GMAT, TOEFL etc?

You need to self report but also need to send the offical ones to admission officer, but I am not sure if that's done before or after the admission decision is made - check the web you can find the answer.

请问Darden在大陆的录取者中有没有entrepreneur背景的呢？我大四开始和几个合伙人一起创业，6年，现在公司发展较好，行业领头羊。另外，G较高(770)，gpa很低，有没有拿奖的可能？

请york兄帮忙回答一下。谢谢！！！
