[求助]请教：关于申请地、申请时间对录取的影响

各位好！

       来这里时间不长，但是收益颇丰，目前我还在备考G/T中，可以在国内或美国本土申请，目标是TOP5；但听大家对于申请的时间TOP5都是第一轮，第二轮几乎就没可能了，不知道这是对于国内申请还是所有申请，因为又要工作又要考试第一轮对我来说时间太紧了，而且听说在美国本土申请好像可以有4次入学机会，不知道有没有了解这方面的高人给指点一下，谢谢！

There is no big difference between round 1 and round 2. The chance for round 3/4 depends. For example, if you include MIT in your top 5 list, it only has two rounds, no matter you are domestic or international applicant. With all the e-application, I don't think where you submit your application matters. Ofcoz, you have certain advantage, e.g, easy to visit schools, while you are in the States.
