请教关于Imperial College

收到了imperial college MSc risk management 的offer，本人的背景一般般，所以也很满足这个学校了。本科是国内的20名左右的学校，GPA还不错有3.7吧，toefl 260[机考】。没有考过G。本来准备今年考GMAT的，但是但是意外的收到了这个Offer，所以请教各位大牛，这个Program值不值得读。imperial college单就学校来说应该是不错的，但是他的商科好像不是很好吧。而且这个risk management的专业是新开的，去年只招收part time，今年才开始招full time的学生。学费也很贵，2万英镑。所以很难决断，到底去不去。不知道有没有了解这个program的，今后的就业什么的不知道怎么样。还请大家帮忙出主意。谢谢了！ 还有就是英国的签证不知道好不好签？具体要什么材料？

我觉得这个项目不错，risk management这两年本来就比较热门，在金融业比较好找工作，而且这个项目和S/P合作，应该会有实习的内容。IC的商学院tanaka还是挺有名的。他家在finance领域本来就是强项。能被这个项目录取已经不容易了，就是比较贵。

英国签证比较好签，材料和美国的差不多。

谢谢高手指教，我本来也是很想去的，但是就是不知道将来的就业前景怎么样，毕竟这是一个新开的program，没有前车之鉴，所以有点犹豫。还有就是有一个亲戚在美国读过finance，CMU的，而且在那边也有点关系，可以帮我介绍CMU的导师，但是就是得要GMAT，估计怎么也得700吧，他直接联系了dean，说是只要gmat过了就应改没问题了。不过要去那儿也是明年的事儿了，而且美签也是个头疼事儿。这么多因素都得考虑，所以很难决断。

CMU better and if you think you can handle the IT stuffs...go for CMU MSCF. It should be much better than the Msc Risk Management

Imperial is Good at statistics...but that's all..

In CMU, you will work with those smart kids from THU or PKU. Such experience will be totally different from the course which just require TOFEL score..

But my assumption is you could handle the IT stuffs..

But gererally, Imperial is not in the same level as CMU

And Takana just has 60% graduates land job in IB...and most of them just work in back office and middle office...

As I know..60% is not a good figure...compare with CMU which is above 90% and most of them end in front offices..
