It's made up of approximately 50 first year students and 50 second year students who are selected from a pool of applicants. The MAC members answer all emails sent to the McCombs Admissions email account, as well as field almost all of the phone calls from prospective applicants. The MAC Members also review almost all of the applications that come in and make recommendations to the Directors of Admissions as to whether to accept or deny an applicant. We're sort of the front lines in the admissions process After we receive all the applications and finish all the interviews, the three co-chairs of MAC (I'm one) and the Associate director of admissions get together and make our final decisions.
