（Women are expected to be the majority of the students entering law school this fall, a trend ultimately placing more women in leadership positions in politics and business.)请问"majority of students are expected to be women 与 women are expected to be the majority" 表达的意思区别是什么？

3. The cottontail rabbit population in Oringe County, California, has increased unchecked in recent years as a result of the removal of the native fox population and the clearing of surrounding woodlands.（正确答案）

（ The cottontail rabbit population in Oringe County, California, has increased unchecked in recent years, resulting from the removing of the native fox population and the clearing of surrounding woodlands.）这个表达错在什么地方？如果前面用removal，后面为什么不用clearance呢？
