第一句也没看懂，第二句的so too是个固定用法，有两种正确表达形式：Just as A do，so B do和Just as A do，so too。

这个句子我觉得是不是这样理解：没有一种区分犯罪原因的努力能解释：很多陷于所谓有罪指控的人其实没有犯罪，相反，很多那些犯了罪的人却没有受到指控。

这个are应该存在，因为它是nonexperts的谓语。who teach in related areas and are looking for writings for and by Asian Amercians to include in survey course是一个大的定语从句，修饰nonexperts
