Do LBS.

your backgroud is quite interesting and unique.I believe that you've had the core qualities as an MBA candidate. Now the most important issues for you are the GMAT score and the applicaton essay, maybe the latter is more important. So focus on your writing of the essay.

With an impresesive essay plus a decent GMAT score,I bet you will make it. Good luck.

I feel more confident now. Actually i was worrying about the backgroud since I don't have experience in the "top brand" firms like IBM or big-4, which i think is what the business schools' preference.

GMAT is not my concern as i've been working in Australia for 2 years and done lots of face-to-face consultancy work, though i'll be putting most of my after-hours time on it since this week.

Dear icbcbj or anyone having good knowledge on it, do you have any source of company/personal doing great job in assisting essay writing??

I always admire profesional's job and be willing to pay decent *_*

oops, i missed something.

I think GMAT 700 should be enough for me, am i right??

BTW, LBS is most expensive MBA in the world which cost you bloody 60,000+ Pounds including living expense..... jesus

do the essay writing yourself,coz you are the one who knows yourself most clearly. I did the writing myself then.

700 is okay for Gmat,not a perfect one though.

I will do the essay myself.

What i mean is to have someone to input some professional stuff, given i'm not an expert in essay writing, nor a good "formal article" writer.

Dear nnm,

i think your background is qulified for LBS. This school much likes applicants with international work experience.So find out some interesting stories in your overseas working and put them into your essay. They will like it.

For GMAT,if you get a high Gmat score, you will enjoy advantage. i know some LBS new admits. Their Gmat scores are above 730. 

My advise is to write the essay by yourself. You are the only person who can speak to your heart. When writting, you can find out details of your stories there. Those points are most touching.Other people can not do that job for you. Certainly, you can make a skilled English writter to prove-read your essaies.

今天算了一下我的GPA, 好低啊, 只有2.8, 哭死了

只好拼命的考GMAT了, 不考到730以上,估计学校就不会要俺的了.

各位达人有什么好的建议没有啊??

I don't have much materials by my side.But you can try to find some information at USNEWS. I know much about B-schools there. You must become a frequent traveller of that website.

Certainly,CD is also a good place to get information you want.
